Ben and Alex tied the knot in the stunning region of Puglia, Italy, during a three-day celebration filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
It all began with a vibrant pizza party, where a live band had everyone dancing under the stars , the perfect start to a joyful weekend.
The next day, guests joined a heartwarming cooking class with a local Italian family, a truly authentic experience. Later, they headed to the beach for a golden hour pre-party, a dreamy photoshoot, and dinner by the sea.
The wedding day itself was magical. Set among ancient olive trees and glowing candlelight, the ceremony featured beautiful Jewish traditions and emotional moments shared with loved ones.
Alex looked breathtaking in her custom gown and Louboutin accessories. As night fell, the energy soared and the couple was lifted into the air, surrounded by music, dancing, and pure happiness.

Charis (Marry and Me) was the only wedding photographer we interviewed, after we saw her incredible work. She has a very natural, almost docu-style way of capturing people, where everyone looks gorgeous, happy – and like themselves. She has a way of making the day look like both a gorgeous editorial spread and the most fun party you’ve ever been to. When we first met her (over Zoom!), we immediately were taken with her warm, laidback energy. We knew it would be a blast to have her there on our special weekend, because honestly we wanted to hang out with her!
Unsurprisingly, it was an absolute joy to have her there the whole weekend. From her calming energy to her sense of play, whether capturing fun moments with friends or doing a photoshoot in the streets of Noto on a vespa taxi, Charis was a dream.

I spent over six months looking for a photographer, having spoken to dozens of photographers, and when I finally met Charis, I knew she was the person I had been searching for all along. She is incredibly talented. She has the ability to capture all the little moments that mean so much on someone’s wedding day and create a story that you relive every time you look through the pictures again.
To be able to capture a single day from start to finish is quite difficult—but Charis and her team did that for four days in a row, as I am Pakistani-Indian American and my husband is Swiss-Chinese. She ensured that all of the rich cultural traditions we shared with our guests were beautifully documented, and she made us feel at ease the entire time.
Charis is now a friend, and when I look back, I’m so glad she was our photographer—because it truly felt like a friend was helping us the whole time. I hope that when we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, she will remember us and help us again.

Choosing her as the photographer for our own wedding was an easy decision. She collaborated with us on ideas for our day, the location, and provided great tips.
On the actual day, she was very flexible and even managed to arrange for the bridal suite to be available earlier for my preparations as the bride. With Charis, there were no hours-long couple shoots with forced poses, but rather a lovely moment for just the two of us, where she made us feel very comfortable, resulting in spontaneous photos. We are extremely happy that Charis captured our story from beginning to end, and we will enjoy it for many years to come. Thank you!
